8 Ball Audio approached me just after they had initially set up their record label. They needed some covers designed for their releases which were going to be distributed and downloaded digitally. The challenge was creating something distinct and recognisable for the label to own within a saturated market.
I worked with 8 Ball Audio to create a consistent design system where the cover art would always include a centralised sphere as a nod back to the 8 Ball. This helped them to start a relationship with their audience by offering something different from their competitors. I created the iconic 8 Ball globe as a brand mark that has been used for many creative pieces for the label.
